TAKE PART IN THE BRIGHTON OR SOUTHAMPTON MARATHON FOR QA HOSPITAL

Start the New Year as you mean to go on and sign up to the Brighton or Southampton Marathon for a Ward or Department of your choice within Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham.

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity, who support the patients of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust by improving existing facilities and by providing additional equipment, are looking for individuals who are keen to sign up for their next challenge.

The Brighton Marathon is on Sunday 9 April and the course runs along the Brighton Seafront, so you’re guaranteed a picturesque view and an amazing atmosphere.

For this event, there is a £25 registration fee and a minimum sponsorship amount of £350.

The Southampton Marathon is on Sunday 23 April and starts in Hoglands Park, Southampton. The course is a stunning mix of city, coast and parks. It is a spectator friendly route, with lots of activities, coffee houses and restaurants to explore, making it a great day out for the whole family.

For this event, there is a £30 registration fee and a minimum sponsorship amount of £300.

If a Marathon isn’t for you, then why not take part in the Southampton 10K or Southampton Half Marathon. These races are also on Sunday 23 April, from Hoglands Park, Southampton.

The events have a great atmosphere and all funds raised will be used to benefit current and future patients being treated within Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.”
