Hayling Island Choir

Hayling Island Choir celebrates its thirtieth year.

After a very successful Christmas concert last December the second concert of the Choir’s 30th season is of choral music by Mozart, Vivaldi, Haydn and Bach.

This concert will feature star soloists from the choir. Sue Moss, Steve Hodgson and Simon Willis are singing as the angels in Haydn’s ‘The Heavens are Telling’. Sue Moss is joined by Sue Galley and Sandra Joliffe in Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’. The evening will end with a rousing rendition of Haydn’s Hallelujah Chorus. A string section plays more Baroque music and accompanies the choir.

The concert is on April 26th at 7.30, at St Mary’s Church.

Tickets for the concert, costing £8, can be purchased form the Hayling Island Community Centre, Hayling School or from any choir member
