Hayling Island Sailing Club will be welcoming back former members and current members to celebrate the club’s 95th Anniversary in May. The club is organising a weekend of sailing and social events for 7th & 8th May, including Club Pennant racing, a 95th Anniversary tea party and Commodore’s Drinks Reception.
Hayling Island Sailing Club was formed in 1921 with 120 members on a site at Mengeham Rythe; We are already working on plans to mark our centenary in 2021 and we hope that members and former members will use this significant 95th Anniversary to get in contact with friends and sailing partners as a precursor to events in five years’ time .”
