Thursdays 18 October and 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November - FIVE-WEEK CERAMIC COURSES - With Peter Levy & Val Stacey - These back-to-back ceramic courses give you the choice to sign up for five or ten weeks. The first five weeks will use nature as inspiration to create sculpted ceramic forms exploring various techniques and glazes.  The second five weeks will continue with the theme but will focus on slab building & throwing whilst exploring the decorated surface - five week course - £147, ten week course  - £250  (inc. materials and firings) - 7-9pm - twelve places

- With Vicki Brown - Inspired by the return of the Great British Sewing Bee, learn how to make something you want to wear using paper patterns and material you love! £99 (exc. materials) - 10am-12noon - eight places

ADULT SATURDAY WORKSHOPS - Saturday 27 October - FUSED GLASS BOWLS - with Kate O’Connell - Learn how to cut, layer and design a beautiful piece of glass, which will then be fired and fuse together and then slumped into a bowl form. - £80 (inc. materials and firings) 10am-3pm - twelve places

Saturday 24 November - PRINTED TEXTILES - with Kathryn Green - Explore a variety of printmaking and mark making techniques. Work towards a unique printed scarf or a length of material, perfect for transforming into a cushion cover or tote bag! £76.50 (inc. materials) - 10am-3pm - twelve places

- CASTING FOR JEWELLERY - with Sarah Macrae - In this introductory session participants will learn the basic principles of cuttlefish casting, how to create a mould, which will then be used to create a pewter casting. - £41 (inc. materials) - 10am-12noon - ten places

Saturday 24 November - CROCHET INTRODUCTION - with Melanie McDowell - Perfect for beginners! Discover different yarns and types of hooks available before learning everything you need to know to start your own projects at home. - £41 (inc. materials) - 10am-12noon - ten places

Saturday 15 December - STRINGING BEADS - with Sarah Macrae - Learn the art form of stringing beads for jewellery. Bring along your own glass beads/stones/pearls to work with or use plastic beads provided - £41(inc. materials) - 10am-12noon - ten places

Saturday 15 December - FESTIVE PENDANT - with Emma Burfoot - Create a large festive decoration or a collection of smaller charms. Utilise a range of techniques including piercing, texturing, hammering and stamping. - £41 (inc. materials) - 1.30pm-3.30pm - ten places

Tuesdays 30 October, 6, 13, 27 November

- with Ami Hyde - Cover a variety of creative projects including illustration, accessories, design, construction & customisation. Work towards an end of term show in July 2019. £83 - 5.30-7pm - twelve places - 11-16yrs
Four subsidised places are available to Leigh Park young people in receipt of free school meals. Parental contribution £33.20, the remaining 60% has kindly been covered by The Arts Society Portsdown.

Monday 22 October - WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE HALLOWEEN CERAMICS - with Peter Levy - Get ready for Halloween in this fun half-term workshop.  Learn how to make a hollow ceramic pumpkin and other spooky sculptures - £18.50 - 10am-3pm - twelve places - 7yrs+

Thursday 25 October - WILLOW FLOWERS - with Jacqueline Rolls -  Learn how to transform willow into a beautiful flower for your garden or home. Children will make a flower assisted by their parent/s. £20.50 child/adults Free -10am-1pm - eighteen places in total. (Max two children: one adult) 5yrs+
