Registration for Rowans Hospice’s popular sponsored dog walk, Woofs & Wellies, is open. The event takes place on Sunday 20 May at Queen Elizabeth Country Park and features a choice of two routes; a 3km or 6km walk through the Hampshire countryside to suit doggies of all shapes and sizes.
It costs £5 to register each dog and humans walk for free. The money raised from this event helps to ensure that patients receive outstanding end of life care, either in the Rowans Hospice or at home.
Gemma Carden, Events & Community Fundraiser, said: “This is a fun day out for our four-legged friends and their families. At Rowans Hospice, we understand how important pets are in helping with the well-being of our patients and this event celebrates this special relationship.”
