HAYLING ISLAND HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

We have an exciting programme of events planned, starting with a talk by Martin Hampton on Designing a Garden for Wildlife on Wed 21st January followed by another talk on Wed 11th 19th February by Geoff Hawkins on ‘The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’.  No it is not about Clint Eastwood but about pests and predators in our gardens!!!

To mark the re-opening of our busy Trading Centre after a winter break, we invite every to an Open Morning with refreshments on Sunday 1st February 10-12 noon.

We are delighted to announce that our Summer Show and Community Fair has a new home and will take place at The Black Barn on Manor Road on Saturday 27th June 2026. Tucked away on a working farm, this stunning barn dates back to 1706 and has plenty of space to create a whole new experience for this annual event both indoors and out.   We look forward to letting you know about our exciting plans.

Full details of these events and others can be found on our website www.hihs.org.uk
