Havant Symphony Orchestra will be celebrating in style starting with orchestral favourite ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ by Dukas. The music is wonderfully evocative even without the Disney animation featuring a certain well known mouse!
Magical music will pervade the rest of the concert with Berlioz’ ‘Royal Hunt and Storm’ from his opera ‘The Trojans’ and Rachimaniov’s ‘Symphonic Dances’.
Joining the orchestra will be soloist Melina Mandozzi above to perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major.
