The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre needs your help! The small place where big things happen wants to increase the quality and variety of music events it offers and has launched an appeal to raise money for a new grand piano. This comes ahead of The Spring receiving the first of four years’ worth of funding as a new National Portfolio Organisation for Arts Council England.
The Spring’s Director, Sophie Fullerlove said: “We are thrilled that The Spring has been recognised as a key provider of arts and cultural activity and awarded Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation status. As a key provider of arts and cultural activity in the Havant area we want to do more to entertain and excite and attract more people to take part in and enjoy the arts.
The Spring’s music events are always popular, but we want to be able to offer a better range and quality of choice. For our Grand Piano Appeal, we are hoping to raise £10,000 to cover the purchase and ongoing maintenance of a new baby grand piano.”
