Organised by the Emsworth Horticultural Society will be opened by the Mayor of Havant on Bank Holiday Monday 27th August 10.30am until 17.00pm, at the Recreation Ground, Horndean Road, Emsworth, Hants. PO10 7PT.
No public parking on-site; however, there will be Free! Park and Ride. Car park for this will be at the New Life Church, Thorney Road, Emsworth, Hants. PO10 8BN
Admission £5 per adult and children under 12yrs will be admitted free with a paying adult.
This year’s attractions include: Dog Show and Karate Displays in the small arena, Falconry, Dancers, Birds of Prey, Archery, Punch and Judy Show, Photographic, Vegetables and Flowers, and Cookery Competitions - displayed in the Main Marquee.
Many stalls selling a host of interesting items including, local produce, arts and crafts, clothing and jewellery, plants, pet products, books, bric a brac etc.
Also, new this year, will be a special event in the main arena. This will be a contest arranged by JAGO KIT CARS. This is a fun event and not to be missed!
A host of rides for children will be available. Watch and listen to music played by three bands including ‘Alder Valley’ and the ‘Pompey Plucker’s’.
Refreshments will be available throughout the event or bring your own picnic and have some fun!
