It may be cold outside, but for indoor cricketers, it's always warmer when your playing your favourite game inside. Emsworth CC have been playing their series of matches since the end of October.
Currently, they have played 7 games. winning 3 and losing 4, sitting in 7th place in the league of 10 teams. Notable performances have come from Jacob Murray with both the most runs, 137, and the most wickets with 7. Clive Pailing and Jamie Chapman have 80 and 63 runs respectively. (This is in spite of Jamie apparently giving himself out for a stumping that didn't happen!!!)
Luke Agnew has taken 3 wickets and Owen Gisbourne 2. The teams has also welcomed Jamie Walters to the club.
If there is anyone else interested in being part of the club, there are several sections to choose from. Men, ladies, juniors and walking cricket.
