Denmead Horticultural Society is a friendly group meeting monthly in all Saints Church Hall Hambledon Road Denmead PO7 6NN at 7.30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month.
All are welcome and membership for the year is only £12.50; visitors are charged £2.00.
On May 3rd our speaker is Mary South. Her talk is “Strawberry fields for Ever”- how strawberry growing developed with the expansion of the railways and Hampshire became known as the strawberry coast.
On June 7th Richard Jones PCC Countryside officer will talk about the Wildlife of Portsdown Hill.
