Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner visit
Heart of Hayling Boxing Academy was honoured to receive a visit by Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner Donna Jones during which time Donna presented a number of the boxers with an Endeavour award for their hard work and determination during the sessions she witnessed.
Josh Harmsworth passed his bronze GB level and was presented with his medal and certificate from Donna.
Senior coach and Hampshire police Sgt Stuart Grover briefed the crime commissioner on the positive benefits of the academy in assisting youngsters on the Island while coach and mentor Knox White explained the set up of the academy including training of coaches, youngsters and the progression throughout the various levels of the GB Award programme.
