The Havant Borough Sports Association is an independent group of sports clubs which has been in existence for over 40 years. Our mission is to help each other to develop our clubs, share good practice and raise the profile of sport.
Due to the limitations placed on us all over the last two years the Association has been very limited in its activities, however, as the world gradually begins to establish a new normal we are very pleased to announce that we are enthusiastically back up and running.
The first face to face meeting was the AGM which was held at the Horizon Leisure Centre, Havant, on June 9th when the committee was pleased to welcome Kellie Palmer from the Solent Gymnastics Club and John Pickard from the Langstone Pilot Gig Club. Kellie and John were able to share updates on their clubs as well as learn about how the Association operates.
At the meeting it was agreed to reinstate the Annual Awards Ceremony. The awards will acknowledge the hard work and dedication of local sports participants as well as volunteers during 2020, 2021 and 2022. The awards will take place on Thursday February 2nd 2023 and nominations are invited in the following categories.
