We have taken Year 11 students to New York 6 times now and every year it just gets better, it takes only a short time before the hustle and bustle of the New York streets becomes second nature and they grow in confidence every sidewalk they explore. The aim of the trip is to provide inspiration and a desire to travel and see the world. It is also an opportunity to take them out of their comfort zone and experience more than their usual day to day.
The students never fail to amaze us, they embrace the opportunity and experience Times Square, Liberty Island, Top of the Rock, Empire State Building, American Museum of Natural History and Central Park like seasoned travellers and the opportunity will stay with them for a lifetime.
