Havant WEA held a Day School at the Spring Havant on 4 March “The Heyday of Vienna in Art and Architecture 1850 to 1920”
The Study Day presented by Mike Grundy pictured right, covered a variety of topics including the history of Austria and Vienna, Viennese Art Nouveau and the Architecture of Vienna. For the various topics images were shown of paintings by artists such as Gustav Klimt. The Architecture of Vienna was also illustrated over the period.
