The 10,700 litre enclosed banks pictured right, are nine times larger than the current onest to enhance and encourage glass recycling.
Fitted with a sensor device, the new banks will also allow for remote monitoring of capacity available, before emptying is required, reducing the environmental impact of unnecessary repeated collections.
