Denvilles Women's Institute Oxford Trip

Forty members of Denvilles (Havant) Women's Institute recently enjoyed a day trip to Denman College in Oxfordshire, which is the WI's centre for learning. . Members were welcomed to the college by a member of staff and, after coffee, watched a cookery demonstration.

This was followed by lunch and then a tour of the college and its grounds.

The Denvilles (Havant) Women's Institute (established 1984) meets on the first Wednesday of the month (except August) in the United Reformed Church Hall, Elm Lane, Havant PO9 1PP.

There is a speaker at most meetings as well as time for refreshments and socialising.  There are also a wide variety of groups, activities and trips for members to engage in during the year e.g. film evenings, bridge and book clubs, knit and natter, darts, skittles, table tennis and trips to places of interest.. Recent trips have been to Salisbury and Mottisfont Abbey   New members are welcome to join our friendly group, so why not come along to our next meeting?
