Community First’s £86,000 National Lottery Funding

Community First is delighted to announce the good news that they have received £86k funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to support their COVID-19 response. Details of how individuals can access the service will be available on the Community First website shortly: The funding further enables Community First to recruit three short-term wellbeing workers to support their efforts in Fareham, Havant, and the New Forest.

Any organisations in need of training please contact us at Community First’s Head of Community Development, Mandy Harris, said, “In a time when many people, particularly those most vulnerable and shielding, will continue to need support we are delighted to be able to keep providing essential services and to expand our COVID-19 recovery offer to local voluntary organisations. We send our biggest thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund and the National Lottery players and we are humbled to be provided with this opportunity to support more people and organisations across Hampshire.”
