Children from Mill Rythe Junior School on Hayling Island recently competed in the Havant Area Tri-golf tournament. Tri-golf is a junior version of the sport where the children take part in a variety of activities that help them to develop their basic golfing skills.
The children had a fantastic time. Most had never tried golf so they were amazed and thrilled when ended up winning the competition! This means that the Mill Rythe team has now been entered as the Havant representatives at the Hampshire School Games in Aldershot in the summer. Congratulations to all who took part and represented the school so well.
