Citizens Advice has moved from the office in Swiss Cottage in St George’s Walk to the Library in Waterlooville. After many years of uncertainty, the old building and neighbouring site is being redeveloped, so Citizens Advice had to leave.
A new advice and information service has now started on a small scale, based in the reference library on the second floor. Currently open for drop in on Mondays from 10 – 2, it is hoped to increase the opening hours over time.
The main Citizens Advice Havant office in Leigh Park Community Centre has extended its opening and is now open 5 days per week Monday to Friday from 10 am until 1pm every day and until 3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
There are also outreaches in Havant Public Service Plaza on Tuesdays and Hayling Community Centre on Thursdays. There is telephone advice available on 03444 111 306 and online advice and webchat on the national Citizens Advice website www.citizensadvice.org.uk
