Spring is firmly within our sights and we’re ready to ditch the winter blues and embrace a different kind of blue... make-up. The hot hue for eyes this season is blue. Whether you play it cool with a subtle navy liner or go bold and bright with a slick of cobalt shadow, this trend can be worn as a fun daytime look or be turned into a sultry, evening one.
Applying a shadow primer to the lid will help keep any eye make-up stay put which can be quite important when going for blue. No one wants to end up looking bruised instead of beautiful! Use a navy liner to enhance the lash line then use a powder and brush to blend.
A pop of colour on the lips is carrying over from the Autumn/Winter season although now we can forget the gloss as it’s all about matte lips. If you’d rather use your favourite shade than invest in a new lip colour, blot once applied and gentle brush translucent face powder over to create a matte look.
