Havant Chamber Orchestra will be conducted by Robin Browning at The Ferneham Hall, Fareham PO16 7DB on Saturday 17 May at 7.30 pm. The programme will be Overture Egmont by
Waterlooville Music Festival takes place from Saturday June 14th -22nd in this its ninth year.
This year the Festival is running a competition for a new piece of music. The winner will have their composition performed during The Last Night and will receive a prize. More details can be found on line.
Market Place Music will fill the town with music on the first Saturday and St George’s Church will have the Summer Fête.
In the evening it is party night with dancing to the six piece band; Out of the Shadows.
Throughout the week there are free lunchtime concerts, schools concerts and workshops as well as an exciting evening programme finishing up with The Last Night of the Proms. Tickets are £6 for the evening concerts (£5 in advance) and £7 for the Last Night of the Proms. There is a passport ticket costing £25 which will get you into all the concerts bar the Last Night of the Proms, or a passport ticket of £32 which will include the Last Night.
