Following the success of the January show, Snow Queen, Dynamo is staging Sparkleshark by Philip Ridley. The play has a theme of how a bullied teenager overcomes his tormentors by writing magical and fantastic stories which draw the bullies into his world.
The production is being directed by two very talented ex-members, Barney Walsh and Zack Cuthbertson and will be performed at St Faith’s Church Hall, The Pallant Havant on 6th, 8th and 9th May. Sparkleshark is a play written for teenager performers, being awarded first prize in 1996 at BT National Connections, the National Theatre's youth theatre scheme. Philip Ridley is a prolific London-based author who has written plays for both adult and teenage casts.
