Christmas in Emsworth with added lob-STAR

Well known for its independent shops and highly regarded restaurants, Christmas events in Emsworth this year will once again highlight what a unique place it is and what an amazing sense of community it has by once again building its very own Lobster Pot Christmas Tree.

Saturday 17th December - Emsworth Christmas Market Day Featuring Hampshire Farmer’s Market

A special Christmas market from 10am until 2pm with Hampshire Farmer’s Market in its new home of St.Peters’ Square. A Christmas Fair and Santa’s grotto in the garden of Emsworth Cottage Hospital between 10am – 1pm organised by the local Lions Club and the friends of the hospital. There will also be special Festive offers in many of Emsworth’s shops.

Lobster & Carols round the Tree – after visiting the market wander down to the Quay at 11.30am for a totally unique Christmas celebration. Emsworth’s ‘Village Voices’ will be singing Christmas Carols around the Lobster Pot Christmas Tree. Lobster Bisque will be available to enjoy and all proceeds will go to the RNLI.

Monday 3rd January - Recycle your Christmas Tree for FREE - Michael Reed Tree Surgeons will in be St. Peters Square between 10am – 12noon - recycling Christmas Trees free of Charge. Bring your tree and then why not visit one of Emsworth’s fantastic Cafes or Public Houses - an ideal way to round off Christmas.
