CHICHESTER COMMUNITY THEATRE is a new theatre company being set up in the city to present a wide ranging choice of challenging plays and musicals. The opening production will be a world première 'No 60 to the Somme', telling the story of the London Buses and their drivers who went to the front during the First World War. The production, which includes musical hall songs of the period, will play at the Riverside Theatre Chichester College the first week of November 2015. WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE INVOLVED ?

We would be delighted to hear from actors,technicians,stage-management, costume makers; as well as people interested in marketing and front of house. In fact anyone who would like to join this new and exciting theatre company.

No matter your level of experience in the performing arts we would like to meet you. Workshops and training sessions as well as play readings will be included in our work.

The companies Chairman is Mike Coleman, Chairman West Sussex Arts Academy and the Artistic Advisor is Roger Redfarn: a professional theatre director whose productions at the Festival Theatre have included 'The Barchester Chronicles', 'The Devils Dancing Hour', 'Song of Singapore' and 'Underneath the Arches'.
