The Denvilles convenience store in Snowberry Crescent has become a Southern Co-operative store to be run by Richard Dance.
Richard Dance and his family business W,J&R Dance Ltd have been running convenience stores locally for over 25 years now so have a wealth of experience to call on. This will be their sixth Welcome Store, which they trade in partnership with another strong and growing local business - the Southern Co-operative.
They are providing 15 or more new jobs in the local area to add to the 120 staff that they already employ in their other stores.
They pride themselves in providing a tailored offering to the local community through having the ability to react quickly to customer demands and requests. The aspiration is for the store to become a local hub for customers.
Richard, the store owner, Adam the manager and new staff employed here want to become involved in, and support the local community. To start this they are providing a £200 donation to Warblington Community Pre-School, a local, community based, committee run group.
They want to hear from customers of anything they would like to see in the new store so do not hesitate to ask one of the staff and their request will certainly be accommodated where ever possible.
