A VISUAL FEAST OF ART

Local artists open their studios and unwrap a wealth of hidden talent – made for sharing.

For many of us art begins from a very young age, potato printing and stick people. Making robots out of cardboard boxes, we explore our creativity as children and for many of us that artistic imagination is left at the school gates. Some of us will pursue art as a career or rediscover their inner artistic talent later in life.

The May days arts trail is the open door to access up and coming as well as established local artists. These two May weekends, make to time to see, touch and celebrate their work in relaxed and friendly environments.

Pick up or download the brochure chock-full of artistic delights and hit the ‘Trail maybe stopping for refreshments along the way. Visitors can meet the artists, discuss their work and may be inspired enough to start a new and rewarding pastime.

Some artists will have items available to buy or will take private commissions. Being a collector of art isn’t just for the Saatchi’s of this world, so invest in locally produced works of art for your home or business.
