Thank you for the Summer, and welcome to the Autumn, because with it comes the anticipation of (dare I say it) Christmas!.
As a ladies four part harmony chorus we really love the run up to all the festivities.We have had a varied Summer of singing at Garden Parties,Fetes etc and are now putting all our energies into rehearsing our two beautiful songs for convention at Harrigate,at the end of October.
Being part of our lovely chorus,we are 24 ladies of all ages,has fringe benefits.The competitions and week-ends away gives us the chance to chill out, once we have sung,and get to know each other better.
We have all felt the benefits of singing,in one way or another,but more importantly,it benefits the community.
Imagine,as you are Christmas shopping,probably a bit stressed,tired,(we've all been there) and there it is.That sound that filters around the corner.
Christmas Carols.That joyous,happy sound bouncing off the shopping mall walls.I defy anyone not to feel their spirits lift.And this is why we do it,sing.
