Four years ago the Lions Club on Hayling Island wondered how to provide a low cost day full of fun for all sections of the family. There will be some readers who will recall the Donkey Derby’s run by Lions in the seventies on the field which is now our HBC headquarters. They were great days and Hayling Lions decided not to copy but to try to improve on them

Between rides there will be a car boot to examine, stalls at which to demonstrate skills, food drink and ice cream areas. Across the field the Dog Show attracts visitors and entrants alike whilst children’s games keep the young occupied
