Havant law firm is a Legal Aid award finalist for the third year running

Havant Law firm Swain & Co Solicitors has won through to the finals of the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards, known as ‘the Legal Oscars’, for the third year running. This success follows Swain & Co being runner up for Law Firm of the Year in 2012 and 2013.

The Legal Aid Practitioners Group (LAPG) is hosting its annual Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards in London in June this year.

Adrian Syms of and Swain & Co was nominated and was successful in relation to work in the Social Welfare category of law.

Out of thousands of law firms, Adrian Syms (Partner) received an overwhelming amount of support from barristers, medical experts and Mental Health Act Administrators backing the nomination.

The LAPG exists to ensure that the Legal Aid system protects vulnerable people and actively campaigns to ensure that access to justice is available to all without threat, discrimination or prejudice of any kind.
