This group of ladies meet every Thursday at Havant Library. They were asked to knit tea cosies for the 'Four Teas' Summer fete which is being held at the tearooms in West Street, Havant, in aid of the 'Help for Heroes' charity, on the 16th August.
The wool was supplied by the tearooms and the knitters have produced about 50 tea cosies in all, in the Help for Heroes colours. A member of the group said 'we have really enjoyed this challenge – we get great pleasure from doing it – the most surprising thing is that there is not one cosy exactly the same as another'.
