Cantemus Choir is looking for new members in all voice parts – but especially TENORS!
Have you ever thought of joining a choir? Perhaps you used to sing years ago, or even these days like to have a go in private in the shower? Choir singing is becoming ever more popular, thanks in large part to TV’s choirmaster Gareth Malone: not only has he managed to enthuse people of all ages and from all walks of life, but he has also coaxed some outstanding performances from them.
Cantemus is a friendly choir of about 40 members, meeting on Tuesday evenings at Bedhampton Methodist Church. We can’t promise you Gareth Malone but we have a very talented and enthusiastic young musician joining us in September as our new Musical Director. Why not take the plunge and come and join us? You will be assured of a warm welcome!
Our next term starts on Tuesday September 9th. We will be practising Haydn’s St Nicholas Mass for our December concert, which will also include choruses from Handel’s Messiah and carols.
