Peter GibbsAwards season is upon us! Director of headromance, Peter Gibbs, shares his favourite looks from the Golden Globes, seasonal trends and reveals how you can also transform your locks into A-List hair.

headromance“The ever gorgeous Diane Kruger (right) was on FIRE at the Golden Globes this year. Her beauty is shown off by her slightly wet look parting teamed with really loose movement.

It seems the red carpet season is all about classic styling bought into the 21st century. This style is easily created: find your parting and apply a volumising mousse (we LOVE Redken Aerate). Apply this evenly throughout the hair. Follow by using a round brush and blow dry your hair in sections ensuring you get good root lift and movement in the ends. Allow the style to cool and brush into position. Finish with a light hold hairspray.”

“Jessica Chastain's sophisticated hair at the Golden Globes (right) was show stopping - tousled over one shoulder in a loose glam wave! To recreate this look, use a wave tong on sections of the hair following the direction of its movement. Let the hair cool, and then gently brush out with a soft bristle brush. Last but not least, finish with a shine spray and a light hold hairspray... And, wallah!
